We’re full of inspiration. Even in our sleep, our minds are flowing with creativity and excitement.
But wouldn’t you function much better in the AM with a full 7-8 hours sleep? Of course.
Here’s how to fall asleep (and stay asleep):
The secret to a restful nights sleep has 3 key ingredients…
1. It starts in the AM…from the time you wake up in the morning until your head hits the pillow, you are flowing. You’ve got a to-do list a mile long and inspiration coming out your ears. As your day progresses, put a clear start and end to your “work day.” Even if you work from home, it’s essential to have a time when the office is closed for the night.
2. A nighttime routine…this is the most delicious. Having a nighttime routine that is soothing to your soul is essential to a restful night’s sleep. Whether that means candles and bubble bath or simply swapping screen time for a great book. You have to put yourself to bed with the love and care that you would a child or your best friend.
3. Getting super clear about what you want…waking up at 3am can be a bewitching hour for inspiration but it can also be a point in which anxiety hits…the coulds, woulds, shoulds, and worries. UGH. When you are super clear about your vision and what you want for your ideal lifestyle design, you are able to put your mind at ease.
