When it comes to changing your life plans or reacting to external events, it might feel like you are giving up. However, this narrative can set you in the place of the victim, where it’s more difficult to recover. This will frame your perspective of things and can influence your next actions. If you learn to surrender, you can more easily adapt to these changes, and accept yourself and your motivations in a better way.

In this episode, we talk about the difference between surrendering and giving up, how important it is to know yourself to be able to surrender, and how your narrative can impact your life. We talk about how not getting an answer is a type of answer, just as choosing not to act actually is an action. We also touch on how to surrender when life doesn’t go as planned and how important it is to listen to yourself to be able to do what feels good to you.

Not listening to yourself can lead you to stay in situations that are not making you happy at all, just because it was your original plan. This resistance, this lack of surrender, is one of the things that can hold you back and stop you from achieving your true purpose in life.
