A Freedom Manifesto is your declaration of your mission, your vision, and most importantly–what you want your life to look like.
Have you thought about it? If you had to make a great declaration, telling the world who you are and what you are all about, what would you say?
What are your dreams, ambitions, what kind of world do you want to live in? How do you want to experience the world? Where do you want to go? What do you want to do?
How do you want to show up and shine in this world?
Who do you want to be?
Here is a page from my journal which prompted me to re-write my Freedom Manifesto:
I am feeling very grateful to myself that I have taken the time to circle back around and get focused again. Taking the time to recalibrate after having Phoebe has been more of an adjustment I thought it might be but in a good way. In the change that I experienced, I felt like I had become panicky, fearful, and distracted from my goals. I felt so very rushed to “make it all happen.” I am so happy and grateful now that I’ve taken the time to get reacquainted with what I want. Instead of simply wishing I had a baby and a family, my reality is that I have exactly what I always wished for. Now, my planning and vision need to readjust to this new reality rather than just what I thought it might be. In that, it is super important that I get the support that I need, that I set the healthy boundaries that I need, and that I recommit to my vision.
To my vision, I dedicate my personal Freedom Manifesto:
I want to feel happy, successful, and confident in the work I do, how I live my life, and the decisions that I make. I will take the time I deserve to be strategic. Strategically visualizing my business, my lifestyle, my relationship, and my friendships. I will be strategic and abundant in how I treat myself, talk to myself, trust myself, and listen to myself. It’s important that I encourage myself to be the best that I can be. I need to be my own best friend, mentor, and guide. I need to focus on being the expert on me.
I will remove the biggest obstacle I have faced: Judgment. Stop judging myself based on where others are. Stop judging myself based on where I think I should be. And stop judging myself for not being enough. I am enough. I am enough to share, to be abundant, to give freely to others, and most especially to lovingly give myself the life I deserve.
