The story in my head can be harsh, filled with judgement and fear. The thing is that I’m not the only one—just this week I feel like nearly every conversation I’ve had this week whether with clients or friends has been around the voice of your inner critic.
Feeling like that inner critic is the real story—the entirety of our potential, it’s crushing. The truth is, the voice of the inner critic isn’t yours.
More often than not, the things that we say to ourselves, the way that we criticize and judge ourselves is done in a way that we would never speak to anyone else.
This is not your voice.
We need to start treating and talking to ourselves the way we treat and speak to others.
